Chris primarily focuses his practice on commercial litigation, involving contract disputes, corporate governance, shareholder/member disputes, and business and real estate law. Chris also has significant experience and expertise in distressed business situations including, bankruptcy and restructurings, creditors' rights, and receiverships. His experience includes representing clients in complex commercial litigation, business disputes, real estate, and land use matters, and in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings and receiverships. His clients have included automotive suppliers, real estate developers, retail companies, hotels and restaurants, appliance and electronics retailers and suppliers, airline companies and delivery services, single asset real estate companies, and manufacturing companies.
He has been engaged in notable cases, including the Collins & Aikman Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. He also worked with a team to represent Oakland County in the City of Detroit bankruptcy case.

Chris is a 1998 graduate of Wayne State University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Pre-Law, with honors, from Michigan State University in 1995.
